| The previous days we had attempted several other mountains on both sides of Jamtal, but in most cases we had been forced to turn back, mostly because of the highly increased rockfall danger following the exceptional hot summer. However, the day before we had succeeded in climbing Hinter Jamspitze and had descended into Ochsental afterwards. It was from this valley that our climb of Dreiländerspitze was to begin. |
