Snow caving in Estergebirge

We were awakened by the dawn, finding its way through the cracks in the entrance, and after a couple of mugs tea, it was time to leave the cave, heading for Krottenkopf. Krottenkopfhaus is positioned very strategically in the pass between Krottenkopf and Oberer Risskopf, so we could leave our rucksacks in the cave and climb for the summit unloaded. Yesterday's wind had calmed, but the snow was quite stable and posed no problems in the ascent towards Krottenkopf.
