Winter in the Furesø Park

On January 2nd 1977, I made my first Winter Bird Counting in the Furesø Park, which means that I at this stage have made this counting through 27 winters. The counting always begins at eight o'clock in the morning, about an hour before sunrise, and this gives a nice experience to see the nature slowly waking up. Some times weather can be grey, wet and dismal, but on a crisp cold day with fresh snow it is sure worth getting up this early.
