An intro to the Alps

The mountains around Refuge Albert Premier is maybe not the best area to introduce people to the Alps, as many of the major mountains around can be quite difficult to climb if you are not trained in the noble art of mountaineering. Probably the most impressive mountain near the hut is Aiguille du Chardonnet, which when seen from here looks even more beautiful than when seen from Grands Montets and the Argentière area. But on the other hand it is mountains like this one which every time gives inspiration to go climbing a mountain again.
