Summer at Helgenæs

This trip I made in August 1999, and I was lucky to find a mate willing to go with me on this more relaxed hike, compared to the hikes or climbs I otherwise mostly venture on in summertime. With the early morning bus from Copenhagen and the high-speed ferry to Århus, it was still before noon when we got off the local bus at Begtrup, just north of Helgenæs. It was our plan to contour the whole peninsula of Helgenæs, so from Begtrup we headed for Begtrup Bay where the hike proper could begin.
