| We had started early morning from our bivouac shelter Tuli Kharka and were now heading for Tangnag. This is a stretch normally walked in two days, with an intermediate camp in Tashing Ongma, but as my porter didn't bring overnight equipment we had to walk all the way to Tangnag in one day. I was in doubt if this was possible, but as we by afternoon crossed the treeline again the ground was now more easy to walk and we gained speed. All the way we hiked along the river, which here is dammed by a smaller landslide, a quite often occurrence in Nepal's mountains. |
