Interesting mountains in Silvretta

The goal of the day was a climb of Jamspitze at the head of Jamtal, a long valley leading south from Galtür. Because of the snow we were not able to drive all the way to the Jamtal Hut, the starting point for the climbs at the head of the valley. Thus we had to walk the last bit up the valley, but already here I noticed that the mountains here in Silvretta were not the traditional long Austrian ridges, but more individual and remarkable mountains, more similar to the mountains in the Western Alps.
