| The hike up to Shir Pala, serving as the starting point of the climb, leaves Darband and climbs up a long gorge with several tea houses and other temptations. Further up the gorge widens to a wide valley, but most of the time the river is followed upstream. About an hour before Shir Pala the trail ascend a kind of via ferrata, from the top of which there is not far to the large huts at Shir Pala. |
