Winter ascents in Chamonix

Although we didn't reach the summit of Aiguille de Rochefort we were still very satisfied with the climb, as it had been a very good training, climbing the 300m high and up to 50° steep West flank on the Dent. But if we wanted to add a summit to our climbs, then we did better choosing a shorter route on a lower mountain. And this we found on Aiguille de Toule just around the corner. However, the mountain wasn't listed in my guide book, but finding our own rote on the mountain just adds that extra little bit of adventure to the climb.
