| On the other side of Hocheck the climb became a little more difficult. The ridge narrowed, and short passages were now protected with steel cables. Still it was rather easy terrain, unless you had a tendency of dizziness. More than half of the other climbers turned back at Hocheck, so we were now maybe 40 climbers who reached this point, with an elevation of 2713 meters the highest summit of Watzmann. |
