| Weather was still perfect when early next morning we were woken up, and we were very eager to get started on our climb. However, at first we had to ascend a thousand metres before reaching the foot of Zinalrothorn. The first part of the ascent was fairly easy, as we were ascending along the moraine, but then we continued across the crevassed Mountet Glacier. |
