| The normal approach to Aconcagua goes through the Horcones valley, but we saw no reason to follow the hordes in, when there was a much more interesting route in from the other side. We had selected the route up the Polish Glacier, and to get there we had to make our approach from east, from the Vacas valley, a very simple and easy walk in, at least for a start. |
