| Now when finally we could get high again, we surely wanted to go high. Above Randa we found Dom, the highest mountain in Switzerland I at that time still hadn't climbed, and this became our goal for probably the last trip we had time to make here from Mattertal before summer was over. Dom is the one mountain in the Alps demanding the longest ascent, and about half way up, the Dom hut is situated, which we reached in a peaceful ascent on a fine day. |
