| I had reserved rooms at one of the oldest hotels in town, just a stone's throw from the pedestrian area, and from our rooms we could enjoy the view to the mountains as soon as we woke up on the day before Christmas Day. Garmisch is situated right at the foot of Zugspitze, the highest mountain of Germany, but nevertheless it is Alpspitze on the left, which is the brand of Garmisch. |
