| As the name indicates, Kodachrome Basin is a low-lying basin, surrounded by low mountains. Most of these mountains are build by some kind of sediments, with different degrees of consolidation. For our first hike we tried to reach the crater rim, but the winter rains had washed away most of the clayey soil, why the trail had disappeared in the upper part of the hillside. |
