| Normally an ascent in the Monte Rosa massif imply taking the rack railway up to Rotenboden, and from here cross the Gorner Glacier to the Monte Rosa Hut, but this didn't imply to Christoph and me. Both as a principle and to save money we renounced cable cars of any kind, and thus we walked all the way up the Gorner Glacier to the mountain. |
