| Instead of climbing Damavand we would try climbing Sabalan Kouh instead, with 4821m being the third highest mountain in Iran. Sabalan Kouh was right outside town near a winter ski area, and it was no problem finding a taxa to drive up us to this place, from where we had to continue on foot. |
