| Kamikochi is the end of the road, and thus the starting point for most mountain trips in this part of the mountains. For climbing most of the mountains you will be needing two days, staying the night in one of the many mountain huts in the area, but looking closer, I found one mountain I should be able to climb on a day trip: Yake-dake. So after arriving on the morning bus I crossed Azusa River to start moving up in the mountains. |
