| The description was clear enough, but not very exact, for once I reached the parking lot, where the trail left the highway, I was now three kilometres from Bormio. Here was a key map of the area, and here I could see that there was no trail leading up to Cima di Reit. Probably this was not the summit he had had in mind, as this was situated 2200m above the valley bottom. |
