| Garmisch-Partenkirchen is probably the most important tourist resort in the Bavarian Alps, and being a mountain man myself we the previous year had been up on Wank. Of course with the cable-car, as it was not to know if there was a walkable trail all the way to the summit from Partenkirchen. Also this time we certainly should have a mountain trip, so this time I proposed that we went for a walk up to Esterbergalm on the back side of Wank. |
