| As part of this acclimatization we had planned to camp on a primitive campsite at Kite Lake and from here use the surrounding peaks as training objects. Kite Lake itself is situated in an elevation of more than three and a half kilometres, and the surrounding peaks go well beyond 4000 metres, so no matter what we did our bodies would automatically adjust to the elevation. |
