| I had in the meantime found that the mountain in question was Cerro Mercedario, the highest mountain in the Ramada mountains and among the ten tallest peaks on the South American continent. However, less could do it, and from my own point of view I would be content with just climbing a mountain taller than 6000m, of which there were quite a few in that area. From Mendoza we organized a minibus to Uspallata, from where we continued in a LandRover to the mountains. |
