Little Bighorn

This Memorial was out on the prairie and was in the first line formed by a big amount of tombstones placed aroung a hill. And in the best American style there were several information tables around, telling about General Custer and his soldiers in the 7th cavalry, who here were besieged by the indians, who in the end slaughtered the soldiers to the last man. The tombstones are therefore placed where the dead soldiers subsequently were found, and the position in the open air on the prairie give a good picture of the surroundings, which the soldiers found them on their last day.
