Following some climbs in Silvretta we continued to Switzerland, where we made a base camp on the campsite in Filet in the Rhone valley. The first trip from here was a trip up Aletschgletscher, but this gave us no summit, because the hut we should have stayed the night at was closed for renovation. Instead we went up the Saas Valley, where we ascended to the Weissmies Hut.
