Rocky Mountain N.P.

We had now been on this trip for two weeks on our small expedition around and through Yellowstone and Wyoming, and on the way we had visited both Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska and naturally also Wyoming. We had started this odyssey in Colorado, and when we now were on the way back to Colorado the circle was about to be closed. We only had one target more on this trip, and this was to visit Rocky Mountain, which besides givng the name to this great mountain chain also was one of the oldest national parks in the USA. We set our course for Estes Park and crossed the state border near the 8110 ft. high pass Overlook Ranch.
