| This time we were not able to start before Saturday morning, and because the trip this time took place in November it meant that it got earlier dark, so that we did not have much time. We were not particular lucky with the weather. On Saturday it was raining all the way from the start until the end, and there were only a few minutes when it didn't rain. Combined with a logistical error in the food planning it was very easy to conclude that we walked all this day's 16 km long stage without a lunch break, so this stage was completed in only four hours. And even though odds were not on our side at the overnight camp we succeeded in making a good campfire. |
