| Already when I visited Paul in Australia for the first time in 2012 and he talked about extending his already then large marathon experience to also run a marathon at Uluru, probably better known as Ayers Rock, I found an interest in also to run this run with him. But when he already the next year decided to run this race in 2014 I was shortly after struck by a blood clot, and to make a long story short I then could not run this race with him. But at least I could be there as a supporter, so therefore I also went with Paul and his running mate David from Papua New Guinea to Ayers Rock Resort, from where this race should take place. |
