A summer day in Veksø moor

On the first day of the month I had run the long circuit through the Hareskoven wood to Søndersø, around it and back to Hareskoven, almost without any stops, except for the steep descent from Hareskov to Søndersø and back up again. In the good old days I had quite often run this route at wintertime, but with an accumulated length of about 11 km it had become too long for me after the blood clot, and since then I had been running no more than 8 kms without stop. But this had been a day with the best possible weather, and that day I had been able to run all 11 kms with only the aforementioned stops. Even though I dragged terribly on my leg once I left Søndersø.
