Birthday on Branäsberget

Ransby is a small plain town at the bank of Klarälven, which without doubt is the most important river in Värmland. The river originates from the Norwegian mountains and is here known as Trysilelva, and while the river here is known from its fishing and challenging canoe water, the mountains higher up form one of the most wide-spread skiing areas in Norway. Unfortunately Ransby is on the northern side of the river and I should this time hike south, but right at Ransby there is a bridge across this great river.
