| In 2006 I had been talked in by Jacob Klaris to go with him to Aconcagua, so that he could be certain to climb this the highest mountain of the Americas, after that he previously unsuccessfully had attempted it with Jakob Urth. However, this time we reached the summit, and on the way down I eyed another interesting mountain out in the horizon. This mountain was Mercedario, which I in 2010 attempted to ascend with Erik Storm.
