A day in Grunewald

There was no doubt that this was children's work here, and this immediately made me think back to my own youth, when I had gone to the Hareskoven wood on my bicycle to experience the nature at close hand. There I with my friend had built a large bower, not unlike the one in this picture, and it was also in Hareskoven that we had made the known 'fern massacres', where we had collected ferns to have a soft floor in our bower. But the children here had not done that.
