| At our first attempt we took the wrong trail down to Duck Lake, with which its circular shape undoubtesly was an old volcano crater, which later had been filled with water. But in the end we found the right trail, which took us down to Yellowstone Lake. But even here, on the trail down to the lake, there were suspicious signs that what could look like gravel plains, were not quite as stable as they appeared to be. |
