| The only thing I knew about Omø was, that my former boss had a summer house on Omø, so I saw more Omø as a holiday area. Omø was situated in the Great Belt behind Agersø, which also had given the island its name, as you had to sail around Agersø to get to Omø, so actually the original name of the island was 'om-ø' (Danish for around-island). Even though Omø was not too far from Stigsnæs it took about an hour to sail to the island. |
