| It had been close to impossible to get a usable topographical map over the Sabalan area, but from the ridge we stayed at I well could recognise the characteristic profile of Sabalan. It was however obvious that we could not move to Sabalan the same afternoon, so instead Erik and I went for a walk up the ridge we bivouaced on. |
