| Puerto Rico is one of the Caribbean Islands, and as I had never been in the Caribbeans before, or some place which only could look like it, I had also thought that I would see a bit of the local area. Puerto Rico is well in the Tropics, so it was obvious that the vegetation was rather luxuriant. The Banana palms formed regular forests, and narurally also Coco palms grew here. The bananas were not quite ripe yet, but the coconuts were, so Pedro invited me for fresh coco milk, straight from the nut. |
