| But Texas is a big state and there was far to Guadalupe Mountains, maybe around 500 miles, and since it now was afternoon I had no intentions of driving up the mountains the same day. Instead I just drove west on Highway 90, and when I reached an area which looked suitably deserted I turned off to spend the night there, at West Pinto Ranch. |
