Winter in the Furesø Park

I visited the Furesø Park for the first time in 1976 and was positively surprised to find this varied landscape so close to Copenhagen. On the same year the Danish Bird Society began their annual count of winter birds, a long-termed project, where the participants were to count the occurrence of birds in a multitude af geographical areas and landscapes all over the country. When these countings are repeated every year, you this way have a tool for evaluating the fluctuations in the population from year to year.
