A nice winter climb



At several occasions I had been talking to Kim Sejberg about going to the Alps to have a little winter climbing, and as our first idea we had set our sights on Lagginhorn in Saastal. But after two attempts in a row we had to give up this project, the first time in 1991 because of too much snow, and then in 1992 the cold made us pack in the tent and go to Zermatt to have a little warmth. But as weather the same time cleared, it was obvious that we had to try again, and as a first small test trip, we decided to climb Oberrothorn.
