Three in one

Since in 1986 I for the first time came to Buis-les-Baronnies in Provence, this place has always felt like a refuge, a home to me. In this medieval town time has stood still for many years, and it is the perfect place to forget about the everyday humdrum. And right at the outskirts of town the landmark of Saint-Julien is positioned, a vertical limestone cliff, shaped like a saurian's back and forms the background to the town. Right in walking distance from the municipal campsite, which in turn lies in comfortable distance from the rich variety of the local bars. In Buis you'll find something for the climbing genom as well as the palate, and the town is simply the perfect holiday place. And when after more then 1800 kilometres' drive I see the saurian looming over the woods, it feels like coming home again.
