Weissmies by the back door

Choosing the Almageller hut as the starting point, I had also decided for the easiest route on the mountain. But it wasn't just because of the easiness I had chosen this route. More, because most people choose to climb the Weissmies from northwest, where it is possible to gain a lot of height using the cable car, and I always prefer peace and quiet when I'm in the mountains. Approaching Weissmies from the south, like I did, means you have to walk up all the way from the valley bottom, totally 2350m, and I soon was to experience that I wouldn't meet a single soul during the climb, but had the mountain all to myself.
