It was a somewhat different journey up through Valle del Colorado, for unlike the walk in to Aconcagua this valley had no arrangements which could facilitate the tourism. Alone the fact that you had to cross a river seven times with no bridges very quickly made me feel very far from home, here in the southern hemisphere, and very easily you could feel like Palle Alone in the World.
