To the top of Mt. Fuji

With an altitude of 3776 metres and good trails to the summit it should be easy to climb this mountain in just a few days. But this was not so simple, because in Japan it is assumed that the climb takes place in the summer season, when there is a direct bus from Tokyo to 5. station on the mountain, just like there also is a wealth of lodges on the way up the mountain. Now it was October, so obviously these possibilities of staying the night did no longer exist. But if you can't be driven op to 5. station there are other possibilities. I had read that the old ascent route had Fujiyoshida as a starting point, and what could better than ascending the highest mountain in Japan from the bottom?
