A summer day in Veksø moor

By now I had been quite good with picking up running again after the blood clot I had been struck by in 2013, and had at this moment no problems with running 5-6 kilometres, which I was quite contend with, thinking of how bad it could have gone. I had gotten use to the thought that I would not be able to run a marathon again in the near future, if ever. But the previous year I had noticed that I was running much better when weather was warmer and more summerlike, so when weather in August arrived with a nice warmth after a cold and wet June and July I naturally had to go for a run.
