| When I had been to these annual assemblies it had always been the tradition, that I always had tried to ascend one of the local mountains while I was there. And after this excursion to Athabasca Glacier it was clear for both of us that we would like to climb one of the Alpine mountains up here. So one week later I rented a car for a day, and early the next morning we both drove through the freezing cold up Icefields Parkway, back to Athabasca Glacier. |
